FORMAT: World Amateur Golf Ranking Event | 72 Holes Strokeplay
FIELD SIZE: 156, cut to top 50 & ties after round 2
ENTRY FEE: £95
CLOSE OF ENTRIES: 20th June, 10pm
ENTRY NOTES: ALL ENTRIES are taken through this page - new players (i.e. players without a CLUTCH profile) should first create their account and then register for the event. Creating a profile enables you to enter any event in the future which is run by CLUTCH, without the need to re-enter your details every time. Successful applicants will be notified after the close of entries, at which point payment will be taken. Should a successful entrant withdraw after the closing date the entry fee is non-refundable.
Clutch Tour membership IS NOT required.
WINNER EXEMPTION: The 2022 Tillman Trophy winner will receive an invitation to compete in the CLUTCH Pro Tour Championship.
ENTRY CRITERIA:
Entries will be accepted from male amateur golfers with a handicap index of 1.4 or below. In the event entries are over-subscribed, the following entry criteria will apply:
1. Any player competing in the European Amateur Team Championship held at Royal St. Georges in July 2022
2. Previous Winners of the Tillman Trophy
3. 2021/22 Champions of: The Reid Trophy, McGregor Trophy, Carris Trophy, Brabazon Trophy, English Amateur, British Amateur, British Mid-Amateur
4. Players who have won a Clutch Pro Tour event as an amateur in 2021/22
5. Players earning a Tillman Trophy exemption from Clutch Amateur Tour events in 2022 (See Official Qualifier Section Below)
6. The Clutch Amateur Order of Merit Winner 2021
7. A maximum of 5 invites at the complete discretion of CLUTCH
8. The 50 players with the highest WAGR at close of entries (June 20th, 2022)
9. The remainder of the full field of 156 players will be made up based on WHS index at closing date - it is the player's responsibility to ensure that Clutch Pro Tour has their correct WHS index on record. (We anticipate a minimum of 50 places will be available in this category).

The Belfry - 23rd March
Forest of Arden - 19th April
Old Fold Manor - 13th May
Castle Royle - 9th June
*the above qualifiers do not have handicap index limits. Players earning a spot through these events are GUARANTEED to play in the Tillman Trophy.

FULL TILLMAN TROPHY EVENT ITINERY:
Monday 11th July - Official Practice Round
Tuesday 12th July - Round 1
Wednesday 13th July - Round 2, cut to top 50 and ties
Thursday 14th July - Rounds 3 & 4
PRACTICE: Offical Practice Monday 11th July - no tee times, players tee off when you like from 7:30am. Please join up with other competitors. PLEASE NOTE LAST TIME TO TEE OFF 3:30pm due to course prep work.
PRACTICE FACILITIES: Full length range with complimentary golf balls. Large putting green and a separate short game area.
CATERING: Available on-site
ACCOMMODATION: Check local Premier Inn, Travelodge, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Airbnb
PARKING ON-SITE: The club has space for around 100 cars, please share rides if you can.
